Dog-friendly log cabins with hot tubs

A timber cabin in the woods, a private hot tub steaming on the deck, and a dog stretched out beside you — it's one of the best shapes a UK dog holiday takes. Log cabins suit dogs particularly well: hard, easy-clean floors for muddy paws, their own decking, and, on the parks where most of them sit, woodland or lakeside walking straight from the door.
This is the log-cabin cut of our hot tub guide — 19 timber lodges and cabins we've verified as both dog-friendly and privately hot-tubbed, grouped by region. (If you're after a standalone stone cottage with a tub rather than a timber cabin, our main hot tub guide has those too.) Each cabin has a private hot tub on or by its own deck, and a dog policy checked against the listing.

Log cabin, lodge or cottage — which are you after?
The labels trip people up, so here's the plain version. Log cabin, lodge and cabin all mean the same thing for a holiday: a timber-built, self-catering unit, usually on a holiday park, with its own deck and — on this page — a private hot tub. Parks use the words interchangeably, so don't read too much into which one a listing picks.
Cottage is the one that genuinely differs — a standalone, usually older and often stone building, rather than a timber cabin on a park. Both can be brilliant with a dog; they're just a different feel. If the woodland-cabin-with-a-deck picture is what you want, this is your list. If you'd rather a stone cottage with a tub and a garden, the main guide covers those, and our regional pages mix both.
One constant across all of them: the hot tub is for humans only — dogs don't go in the water, on any UK stock. They're welcome everywhere else the cabin allows.
